Start the year fresh with fresh sleep products that will have you feeling confident and rejuvenated!
If you have not set one sleep-related goal on your list of New Year’s resolutions yet, I am here to tell you it is time that you do! Prioritizing our sleep during the pandemic is more important than ever, and while we did a good job investing in our sleep in 2020, we must keep the self-improvement momentum going in 2021 by continuing to focus on our overall well-being. Getting enough quality sleep is essential during the pandemic in order to help strengthen our immune system and fight against illnesses, and help to quicken recovery time if you ever do fall ill. Not to mention, all the other benefits such as improved focus and mood will make the days more productive and enjoyable.
How can we improve our sleep other than just going to bed earlier? Well, there are a ton of ways! You can find more of them at one of my previous blog posts here. However, one major way that is often overlooked, is making sure you have a clean, tidy, fresh sleep environment to ensure the most relaxation. Have you ever noticed it is harder to fall asleep at night when your room is cluttered and your sheets have not been washed for a few weeks? It is more difficult for our minds to be at ease when we are not taking care of our surroundings.
So, why wait for spring cleaning to freshen up your sleep environment? The New Year feels like the perfect time to for a fresh start. First, make sure you are washing your pillowcases and bedding regularly to prevent sweat, dirt, odor, pet dander and dust from building. If you are wondering how to best disinfect your pillow, you can find more information here.
Another idea for starting the year fresh, is to invest in some fresh sleep products! I love these products I created in partnership with Pottery Barn Teen that are specially designed to stay cleaner and fresher for longer. The technology in the materials adapt to your personal body temperature to ensure you stay cool through the night, and also are sensitive to allergens.
Stay Fresh Down Alternative Duvet Insert – The new Stay Fresh bedding with Fresh Zone™ feature a unique high performance down alternative fill. This filling material combines 37.5® technology derived from volcanic sand to regulate temperature and absorb odors, with antimicrobial fibers to resist odors from bacterial buildup. The shell combines breathable cotton with 37.5 technology for a snuggly soft experience that will have sensitive sleepers sleeping deeper and waking up feeling rejuvenated.
Stay Fresh Down Alternative Pillow - use this pillow in combination with the duvet for the best results! The same fibers and materials are used in each of these Stay Fresh products, and both of them working together will have you waking up feeling more rejuvenated than you ever did in 2020!
Now is the time to start the year fresh and make your bedding even fresher! Create an exceptional year for yourself and your surroundings. A better night’s sleep will help you feeling inspired and ready to tackle 2021 with a newfound confidence and motivation. Even making the smallest changes in your environment will make a huge difference that you will notice right away!
